Hub cohorts worth watching in Hong Kong workplaces

New joiners, power users, and dormant seats behave differently. Segment engagement before you average it.

Averaging engagement across an entire hub hides three stories. New joiners explore widely and churn apps quickly. Power users concentrate on a few tools and ignore featured placements. Dormant seats still appear in licence counts while contributing almost no meaningful sessions.

For Hong Kong workplace hubs we usually recommend cohorts by tenure band, department or function when available, and last meaningful activity date. Retention pulse reviews then track those cohorts separately so a healthy power-user core does not mask a quiet onboarding problem.

Bring cohort definitions into the engagement letter. Changing them mid-analysis invalidates trend comparisons.
